Busselton artist Betty Setzinger experienced an incredible birthday surprise, her daughter Callie Adams took her to Perth Zoo to paint with an elephant.
As an artist and designer, Ms Setziner said it was extremely important to her who she worked with.
"As I love elephants this arrangement seemed appropriate to my family as a birthday gift," she said.
"It was such a beautiful gift and an experience I shall hold as considerate and very special.
"I am a lucky Mumma."
A 29-year old male elephant named Putra Mas was Ms Setzinger painting companion, she painted a canvas while Putra Mas sprayed it with paint from his trunk.
Ms Setzinger said she would recommend the experience to anyone.
