Players from the Busselton Squash Club competed at the South West Open in Bunbury over the weekend, producing mixed results combined with some challenging conditions.
Busselton's number one seed Daniel Taylor would compete in the opening round of the day against WA's number one seed and PSA player Mike Corren.
Walls suffering from condensation did not deter Taylor as he took the fight right up to Corren, determined to leave it all on the court but to no avail.
Taylor would move on to compete against Bunbury's number one seed Jamie Herring, but also succumb to defeat in a hard fought contest.
Ryan Callegari would come up against familiar foes to claim third prize in division two.
Local players Christine Harris and Jane Hunt also provided a competitive showing across the event, finishing the weekend in a nail biting match against one another.
The Busselton Squash Club plays its final pennants for the season this Monday. Spring pennants commence July 22. To get involved with the Club call 0420 947 425 or find them on Facebook.
