The WA Masters Squash Association held their annual State Championships over the weekend of July 20-21, with players ranging from 35 to over 80 years old competing in their respective divisions.
Many players competing in the event looked to solidify their qualification for the upcoming annual Australian Masters Squash Championships, to be held later this year in the Gold Coast.
Local Busselton Squash Club player Brian Roby, competed in the Men's 55-59 Division 2 event, coming in at second place against Mandurah's Mark O'Malley in a hard fought contest.
When not on court, Brian along with local long time squash identity Ron Clayton, used their self-developed software Autodraw to run the event. Both men have been a big proponent of Masters Squash across the country and Busselton Squash for decades.
The Tournament circuit continues for Busselton Squash players as they look to compete in the upcoming Leschenault Teams' challenge in August.
The circuit then moves onto the Annual Country Weekend Tournament in September.
