The Yallingup Boardriders will be holding a car boot surf and skate swap meet sale for people to give or sell their unwanted surf gear at a low price.
The community event will be held the Caves House Hotel in Yallingup from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday August 25.
Yallingup Boardriders event manager Jodie Spencer said they saw this as an opportunity to help connect people through their love of surfing to reuse and recycle their old gear.
Entry is $10 for a car bay which will be put back into the club to support club members from the Yallingup Boardriders.
Ms Spencer said money raised at the event would also help go towards water safety for drones and skis at events, first aid supplies and judging software.
"We are a not-for-profit club, money raised at the event will help our Yallingup Boardriders members with their surfing when they represent the club at state, national and world events," she said.
"The historic Caves House Hotel is one of our long term partners and a central place to Yallingup surfing and the broader community, so it is the perfect location for a swap meet.
"Our vision is to have an annual event of this sort to keep growing the local surfing community while supporting local businesses."
