People living with a health condition, disability or injury were put to work at Vasse Village on Tuesday as part of Forrest Personnel's WorkABILITY Day.
The day is designed for people to gain work experience and raise awareness that people of all abilities can bring skills to the workplace.
The annual event is run by Forrest Personnel to bring employers and job seekers together for one day.
Vasse Village WorkABILITY Day participants gained experience in customer service, retail, kitchen hand, childcare, admin, social media, cleaning and maintenance.
Vasse Estate community development consultant Nicole Andrijevic said they became involved to acknowledge there was a place for everyone in their community.
"We celebrated the community coming together to support each other," she said.
Forrest Personnel chief executive officer Anna Bagshaw said it was fantastic to see businesses supporting the initiative on such a wide level.
"Our participants gain a lot from having the opportunity to be included at so many levels of an organisation," she said.
"It is also a great opportunity for employers to experience the benefits that individuals with health conditions, disability or injury, can bring to a workplace."
