Busselton model Paris Newman has made her national debut on the catwalk at Melbourne Fashion Week appearing in three shows for brands Strateas Carlucci, We Are Kindred, and Elliatt.
The Year 11 Cape Naturaliste College student made her break after she was spotted on Instagram by model scout Stacey Hendrickson who commented on one of her images.
Ms Newman responded to the comment and traveled to Perth to meet with her now agent from AZALEA Models in Adelaide.
Ms Hendrickson said she was please to meet Paris who was so beautiful in person.
"The first thing I noticed was her height and amazing bone structure, I could also tell that she was very passionate and enthusiastic about becoming a top model," she said.
Ms Newman has aspirations of becoming a top international model, and dreams of walking on the runway for Prada.
"I thought it was a very impressive first season, especially considering Paris actually couldn't make it to the castings because she was in school," Ms Hendrickson said.
Ms Newman will be walking in a couple of shows at Perth Fashion Festival, and is looking forward to being on a stage near her home town.
