The Indian Ocean Longboard Club held it's second last club contest of the year at Yallingup last Saturday.
A nice south west groundswell greeted competitors and the wind stayed favourable for most of the morning.
Perth member Andrew Houghton won the handicap division from Paul Burke and Adam Lane.
The open scores were kept secret to go to club champion overall scores which will be announced at the final contest and annual presentation to be held on Saturday November 9.
Club president Paul Burke thanked the sponsors Salt Merchant surf accessories and Peace Pizza.
The club's flagship event the Yallingup Malibu Classic is set for the weekend of November 30 and December 1.
It will be the event's 35th year making it the longest running longboard competition in Western Australia.
One hundred competitors from across the state are expected to bring their family and friends to Yallingup for the event.
