For the fifth year running, Wills Domain has been recognised for its dining excellence being awarded the number two Regional Restaurant of the Year in WA's Good Food Guide.
In addition to the recognition, head chef Seth James was also awarded Best Regional Chef for 2019.
The review from WA's Good Food Guide magazine stated the inventiveness and originality of chef James' dishes were almost without parallel in WA.
"Simply, Wills Domain continues to be one of the finest dining experiences in Western Australia and, from our experience, one of the best dining rooms in the country."
Head chef James is passionate about the restaurants sustainable, seasonal produce harvested daily from the onsite garden.
By creating his menu mostly around local produce at his doorstep, he has a rare understanding of the region and an ability to showcase his yield with a stylish and innovative menu.
Owner of the family run business Darren Haunold credited this success to hard work, treating customers with respect and teamwork.
"Seth and I are a great team. We both get why we need each other and how to work together effectively," he said.
Wills Domain has been recognised as WA Good Food Guide number two Restaurant and Regional Restaurant of the Year in 2019,2018, 2017, 2015 and 2014.
They also achieved two chef hats in the National Good Food Guide, as well as being inducted into the Hot 50 Hall of Fame.
