It's not every day that a call goes out for volunteer angels, shepherds, and wise people - but the Dunsborough Progress Association needs them for this month's nativity feature at the annual Carols by Candlelight.
Dunsborough and Districts Progress Association chairperson Jacquie Happ said no acting experience was necessary, just a good sense of fun.
"The nativity scene is very popular at our Christmas Carols event which will be held in Lions Park from 6pm on Thursday December 19," she said.
"We need a Mary and Joseph too, along with hopefully a real baby to play Jesus."
Anyone who can volunteers for the nativity scene is asked to contact Bronwyn Jenkins by emailing pricklypairdesign@gmail.com
The Progress Association also has a call out to singers in the community.
Ms Happ said they would love to hear from solo or duo carol singers who could perform at their carols event.
Singers who would like to perform at the carols are asked to contact Ms Happ by emailing president@dunsboroughprogress.com.au.
Other volunteers are also needed to present readings, sell candles and raffle tickets, collect gold coin donations and be elves handing out lollies at the Carols event.
People willing to assist can contact Lisa Knight on 0417 941 493.
