Stunning images of the osprey eagles at Meelup Beach have been sent in by Dunsborough resident Bruce King who saw the eagles first nesting in the tree in October 2017.
Recently the branch where the eagles nest was located collapsed.
Mr King said it looked like the osprey's first started nesting in that tree back in October 2017, but unfortunately that nest came crashing down in May 2018.
"They recommenced the rebuild in June 2018 until that also came crashing down in January 2020," he said.
"I think their structural engineer has a bit to answer for."
Mr King said the ospreys were still in the area looking for another more suitable site.
"Each year the pair have had chicks, the current one is still with them, albiet homeless," he said.
