The Geographe Bay Football Club are gearing up for a stellar season this year and hope to recruit some new players to join them.
Coach Elisha Saltarini said she was predicting the women's team to finish the season in the middle of the ladder.
The women had a tough year in 2019, they finished second last after a stellar season in 2018 which saw win the league.
"We want to do better than we did last year, we are going to make a comeback," she said.
"In 2019 we won maybe one or two games it wasn't the best season, we did not have enough players each week to field a team.
"We also had fresh players who were not as committed to playing.
"I am hoping older players come back to help mentor the team."
Men's coach Danny Crampton said they have unofficially started training before the season starts in April.
"Numbers are looking really good we've had 19 people at training every night with a good mix of juniors and seniors," he said.
"We have two youth league boys teams this year, a lot of them are training as well, they want to step up and play seniors.
"A few masters have come back as well.
"We travel as far as Manjimup and Harvey it is a really good comp, there are a fair few kilometres involved."
The men's league finished in fourth place last season being bumped by a goal for third spot on the ladder.
"I was really happy in previous years we had struggled for numbers," he said.
"We are certainly looking at increasing our numbers."
