A land, air and sea search is currently underway for a man missing in the water south of Sugarloaf Rock in Dunsborough.
According to Dunsborough Police, the 29-year-old man, believed to be from Perth, had been collecting abalone with a group of people about 10am this morning, March 2.
The man was discovered missing and group members raised the alarm.
WA Police have confirmed that a land, sea and air search is underway for the man.
It is understood that Naturaliste Volunteer Marine Rescue, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Margaret River Volunteer Marine Rescue, Smith's Beach Surf Club, Surf Life Saving WA, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Margaret River Police have been deployed to assist Dunsborough Police with the search.
