Dune Distilling Co. are on the hunt for an inspired emerging artist to design a unique art piece to feature on their upcoming new gin release label.
The Western Australian coastline is the inspiration behind Margaret River's Dune Distilling Co.s luxury spirit brand and they are hoping to find a similarly minded artist to create the perfect art piece for their new upcoming gin label.
The distillery located at Black Brewing Co in Wilyabrup, currently features a Signature Gin and Yallingup Pink Gin on their portfolio.
For the upcoming Dune gin release, the company are looking for artists to submit original artwork that align with brands Western Australian native coastal native flora and fauna inspiration.
The winning artist will have their artwork featured on the label as well as receiving a $500 prize.
Dune Distilling Co Marketing Manager Joanne Tate said having previously featured gorgeous art pieces on their Signature Gin by local artist Sara Winfield and on our Yallingup Pink Gin by artist Sally Foord, they would like to be able to continue to support talented emerging artists by providing this opportunity to work alongside their brand.
"The competition provides a platform for local artists to showcase their talents," she said.
"We love seeing the diversity and creativity that is entered and we aim to promote entrants as much as we can. It is an exciting project to be a part of."
Entries for the Dune Distilling Co Emerging Artist Competition can be made online via the link below and close at 5pm on Thursday June 25, 2020.
Dune Distilling Co has hinted rhubarb, thyme and hibiscus botanicals as inspiration.
"We don't want to give too much away nor via the artists in a particular direction. We would like to be able to keep the creative mind open and see how artists interpret the brand," Ms Tate said.
