Winter may be starting to settle in but there will be no time for hibernation this year.
Just more than three months to the day that Black Brewing Co closed their venue due to COVID-19, the team are back as the WA Government lifted restrictions within the state.
Operations manager Damien Keenan said June 25, 2020 was a special day for the brewery.
"The doors to our restaurant reopened with a brand new menu and the canning line packaged our two new beer releases," he said.
"What more could we ask for. We are feeling extremely grateful."
The recent time allowed the venue to look over their business and get creative with their food and beverages.
Head chef Hayden Vink had some fun with the restaurant menu after a pizza oven was installed in the kitchen giving diners a new selection to choose from.
"The key focus still remains on using high quality local ingredients while offering a delicious and uncomplicated range of dishes that are created to share," he said.
Highlights include the signature gin and beetroot cured salmon with citrus and sour cream, slow cooked lamb ribs with harissa cream and pomegranate, crispy pork belly with a sweet potato puree as well as the Gamberi Diavola pizza with tomato sugo, garlic Australian prawns, Margaret River farmhouse chorizo and a touch of chilli.
Black Brewing Co's dynamic brewing duo Shannon Grigg and Adam Brookes have not skipped a beat over the past three months and will be releasing two new beers on July 1, 2020.
Cacao Hazelnut Stout and Boy Bao Bao Milk Stout are the latest releases from the brewery and will be rolled out to local craft beer specialist liquor stores and venues.
