The team behind the Gail Kearney Memorial Busselton Hospice Golf Day have confirmed the annual fundraiser will run for the 17th consecutive year after it was postponed in the pandemic.
The golf day is a fundraiser for Busselton Hospice Care Inc, a not-for-profit community organisation, which provides support and services for people who are at the end of their life and to their families.
During its 17 year history, the Gail Kearney Memorial Busselton Hospice Golf Day has raised more than $510,000 for Busselton Hospice Care Inc.
This year's event will be held at the Busselton Golf Club on September 18, 2020 with registration commencing at 9.30am.
The golf day will be played as an ambrose event in teams of four at $500 per team.
A shotgun start will begin at 10.30am, followed by an auction, trophies and light meal from 5pm.
The team behind the golf day are looking for sponsorship and would be grateful for donations. People can also contribute to the Wall of Wine by donating individual bottles or cartons of wine which will be auctioned on the night.
If anyone would like to be part of the day or would like more information please contact the teams coordinator Mike Kearney at BSNHospicegolfday@gmail.com.
