Update: The man attended the Armadale Police Station yesterday morning, Saturday 15 August, at which time he was taken into custody.
He was charged with Escape Lawful Custody and was refused bail.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 17 August.
Earlier: Police are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a 36-year-old man Martin Leslie McGrath, who escaped lawful custody on Friday afternoon.
Mr Mcgrath escaped lawful custody in the Perth CBD, with the last sighting of him in the Perth CBD area confirmed around 5pm.
He is described as olive skinned, 180cm tall, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light-coloured long sleeve top with the word 'TOKYO' on the front.
Police say as with any escapee, he may act in an unpredictable manner if approached.
Members of the public who see Mr McGrath are advised not to approach him, and to call Police immediately on 131 444.
