The Gail Kearney Memorial Busselton Hospice Golf Day has raised $35,100 for Busselton Hospice Care Inc.
The annual event is hospice care's biggest fundraiser for the year organised by a group of dedicated community members from Harcourts Busselton, Cape to Cape Insurance Services and coordinator Mike Kearney.
Busselton Hospice Care Inc chief executive Rosie Brown said their organisation would not survive without the group of amazing people who scheduled the event every year.
"As much as they say it is a labour of love and it is great fun, it is still a big effort and they have now raised more than $500,000 for us in the 17 years they have been doing this," she said.
"We just want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts."
The money raised ensures BHCI can continue providing help to people in the community who are dealing with end of life issues.
The next event will be held on March 26, 2020.
