The Cultural Precinct will be the place to be in Busselton with the Art Award Street Party on Friday, December 4, 2020 and the Courtyard Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
Following the exciting City of Busselton Art Award winners announcements, aerial enchantress and international performer Theaker von Ziarno will be performing with opera singer Aria Scarlett at the Street Party.
ArtGeo coordinator John Reid said von Ziarno was highly spirited, powerfully animated and dedicated to detonate great energy whenever she performs.
"It will be a night to remember with multi-instrumentalist Michael de Grussa also performing and the crew from Rocky Ridge serving drinks," he said.
"This free event runs from 5pm to 8.30pm on Friday, December 4, 2020.
"Both the ArtGeo Gallery and Old Courthouse will be open to view the Art Award exhibition and Showcase of Skills."
Local artisans will be selling handmade one-of-a-kind gifts at the Courtyard Christmas Bazaar. There will be ceramics, jewellery, pottery, textiles, glasswork, craft, woodwork and much more on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 9am until 3pm.
"You will also be able to purchase and take home original artworks from the City of Busselton Art Award on display in the Old Courthouse Complex," Mr Reid said.
"The City of Busselton is hosting a free sausage sizzle from 10am to 12pm, with Councillors and staff on hand to chat about the Busselton Performing Arts and Convention Centre.
"Queen Street will be alive with entertainment on the street stage with dancers from Jazz Attack at 10am, the Busselton Choral Society at 10.30am and Leeuwin College of Performance from 11am dancing up a storm."
