Fraser Gallop Estate has introduced immersive wine tours taking guests deep into their property to explore their vineyards and find out how they make world class wines.
Estate owner Nigel Gallop said they had a lot of requests from people who were keen for a more immersive experience.
"It is great to give people tastings so they can see the quality of the wine, but a lot of people want to know more than that," he said.
"By bringing them out here we can talk to them about the unique properties of this estate and this block."
Mr Gallop said while he believed all blocks were unique, their block at Wilyabrup had particular characteristics that made a world class chardonnay and a world class Cabernet.
"They are recognised by the fact that the wines have won two major international awards, one for each of those varieties, and that is unusual," he said.
"Most estates produce one great wine, this estate even though it is not terribly big, produces two great wines. We wanted to explain to people why that might be.
"Our chardonnay here is south facing, it is right at the top of the Wilyabrup valley and is the highest point in the valley.
"We get these breezes coming up the valley that cool the chardonnay and that seems to be an ideal environment for it to grow.
"At the front of our property is the Cabernet in a more north facing environment.
"This tour is for people who are interested in finding out about that and tasting the wines."
Fraser Gallop Estate marketing coordinator Kate Lethlean said guests would be taken deep into the estate to show the connection between the winery, Wilyabrup and how the wine is produced.
Guests are driven around in a buggy exploring each block of the vineyard.
"We do tastings along the way and stop at the most picturesque places around the estate and in the private gardens," she said.
The tour finishes up under a peppermint tree where guests are treated to a picnic at one of the most iconic spots on the estate.
