The team at Hungry Jack's in Busselton have raised $4,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation which creates life-changing wishes for critically ill children in Australia.
The fundraiser was made possible by $6,000 worth of prizes donated by local businesses which were raffled at the store on the weekend.
The fundraiser continues this weekend and is part of an Australia-wide Hungry Jack's initiative that is aiming to raise $1 million for the foundation through its stores.
Hungry Jack's Busselton store manager Wendi Nolan said customers could donate $1, $2 or $5 to the fundraiser.
"$1 million will give 100 kids there wish," she said.
"It costs about $10,000 for one child to have their wish.
"Thanks to our chief executive Chris Green, district manager Todd Gooch and John Emmins for helping us organise this event.
"The goal was only achieved because of the amazing effort from all the team at HJ's Busselton, the local businesses that supported such an amazing cause and the awesome members of the community that participated in the raffle.
"The team at Hungry Jacks in Busselton just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone."
