The dreadful weather on the weekend did not stop the determination of the South West Riders Social Club from delivering blankets to the In Town Centre.
Excluding 2020, the club have been doing a donation ride for seven years to help those less fortunate.
They provided the In Town Centre and other agencies with blankets, sleeping bags and anything else to help keep the homeless warm this winter.
The In Town Centre provides a place for people of all ages, gender who face difficulties with loneliness, poverty, drugs, alcohol, homelessness and mental health issues to enhance their dignity, self esteem and independence.
Chairman of the board David Bailey said more than 50 riders participated in the event on Sunday May 23.
"It is a wonderful thing these people do each year and we are very grateful," he said.
He said the donation would help dozens of people throughout the South West through different agencies.
"We couldn't do it last year because of COVID-19 and there has been more of a demand for help this year," Mr Bailey said.
South West Riders Social Club president Aaron Dickson said it was proud to be involved with the In Town Centre and help those less fortunate.
"We hope to continue to support the centre for many years to come," he said.
The In Town Centre always accepts donations and is open five days a week.
