Enable WA is hosting an all inclusive disco at the Esplanade Hotel on Friday, July 16 and would like to invite anyone in the community to go along.
The event is being held to help remove the stigma for people who are often isolated or excluded from social gatherings because they live with a disability or mental illness.
Enable WA coordinator Emma Dearn said it was an event for the community.
"We have known for a long time that people with special needs or those who live with a mental illness are socially isolated," she said.
"There is not a lot of opportunity for them, especially group activities so the idea was to reduce that isolation and hold some community events for everyone.
"The disco is open to everyone so anyone can come along. We are hoping that people who like to have a dance come along as well."
There will be an open bar at the event and nibble food, with guests being entertained by DJ Emma on the decks.
Tickets to the event are limited and people with companion cards are welcome to attend.
Tickets and more information are available online from enablewa.org.au/event/disco-fever/.
