Leonard Morris Deale's trial set for 22 sex offence charges

Trial date set sex offence case

A trial date has been set for Busselton man Leonard Morris Deale.

Mr Deale has pleaded not guilty to 22 sex offences.

He was first arrested in early March, 2021 after an investigation from the Child Abuse Squad detectives.

It is alleged between 2012 and 2020, the 35-year-old indecently and sexually assaulted nine male victims who were aged between 16 and 22 years.

Mr Deale has been charged with one count of sexual penetration without consent and 20 counts of unlawful and indecent assault.

The trial has been set for September 29 in the Bunbury District Court.
