Fermoy Estate were awarded 'Best in Show' for its 2019 Reserve Chardonnay at the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards.
The award is the highest accolade in the competition, which involves a tasting of more than 18,000 wines from around the world.
Fermoy Estate chief winemaker Jeremy Hodgson said the judging was divided into global regions and narrowed down to the top 50.
"We were delighted, it is always nice to win big gongs," he said.
This is the fourth trophy awarded to Fermoy's 2019 Reserve Chardonnay, having already won three trophies at this year's Wine Show of Western Australia including Best Chardonnay, Best White Wine of Show and Best Wine of Show.
"We knew we had a good wine, but for a wine to make it through a tasting and get to the end at the Decanter World Wine Awards is fantastic," he said.

"It is a great reward for the whole team here wine making is a real team effort."
Judges described the wine as spotlessly clean, pure and fine-spun on the palate, with ample citrus and samphire freshness and a pungent finish.
Mr Hodgson said the 2019 Reserve Chardonnay as full of flavour and beautifully poised.
"It has a wonderful balance and succulence of acid that really stands out, it makes you want to drink more," he said.
"Everything is in harmony and everything is in balance, which is what you are always striving for."
While the wine has not been released yet, it will be available to purchase online as part of a limited edition with Fermoy Estate's 2017, 2018 and 2019 releases.
"All three wines have been really successful and I am really happy with them," Mr Hodgson said.
"With success like this comes more interest."
Stella Bella was also recognised for its Luminosa Chardonnay 2019 and Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2019 receiving a platinum award for both.
Now in its 18th year, the Decanter World Wine Awards is the world's largest wine competition.
