The Dunsborough Lions Club welcomed new president Malcolm van Rensburg at their handover dinner last week.
Mr van Rensburg has taken over the role from former president Mick Macri.
The club has celebrated a huge year of fundraising and donations which were able to be used for a number of community initiatives.
More than $221,000 was raised through the sale of donated goods at our their shed on Dunsborough Lakes Drive, Lions Markets, Christmas Cakes and Mints sales.
Mr van Rensburg said this was achieved thanks to the generosity of the local community.
More than $153,000 was donated to health related organisations, humanitarian causes, schools, sporting clubs and disaster relief assistance.
