Food, wine and good times are back on the menu at Western Australia Gourmet Escape this November 17 to 21 when Australia's best culinary talent take part in events across Margaret River, Perth, Swan Valley and Rottnest Island.
Tickets go on sale at 12pm WST July 22, 2021 with 30 events featuring a roll call of more than 30 of Australia's most loved and respected culinary stars.
The Margaret River region will play host to most of the 30 plus events and a host of internationally-renown culinary talent including Rick Stein, Curtis Stone, Maggie Beer, Stephanie Alexander, Guillaume Brahimi, Mark Best, Colin Fassnidge, Matt Stone, Shannon Martinez and more.
Festival favourite events including Gourmet Beach BBQ, Ultimate Dining Series, and The Village return, and added to them are exciting new releases including the Vineyard Party and the Coward and Black International Rosé Tasting Lunch, and classics with a twist including Swings, Beats and Bites.
Western Australia Gourmet Escape program director Natalie O'Brien said now, more than ever, people were craving connection and celebrating the simple pleasures in life.
"Gourmet Escape this November gives us all something to look forward to," she said.
"A celebration of the good things in life - food, wine, culture and connection - with the natural beauty and incredible produce of WA providing the setting for Australia's brightest culinary stars to shine."
The ninth installment has something for everyone; stunning beach backdrops with delicious food and wine curated by Australia's best chefs alongside a series of events that honour the history and heart of the Festival in Margaret River.
In 2021 Western Australia Gourmet Escape grows into new venues and creative collaborations across Perth, Rottnest Island and Swan Valley with additional programming and talent to be announced in coming weeks.
Western Australia tourism minister David Templeman said Gourmet Escape was proudly supported by the State Government through Tourism Western Australia's Regional Events Program.
