Busselton's St Mary Mackillop College is set to benefit from a project that will deliver new classrooms and other amenities.
The project is partly funded in part by the Federal Government's Capital Grants Program.
Federal Member for Forrest Nola Marino MP said the grant would provide $506,000 towards the project at St Mary Mackillop College.
"Students and staff at St Mary Mackillop College will benefit the construction of six new general learning areas with a store, student and staff toilets and changerooms, furniture and equipment," she said.
"These new modern and up to date facilities at the school will help students and teachers thrive and I look forward to seeing the positive impact on their learning environment."
St Mary Mackillop College acting principal Joanne Paini said she was very grateful for the support of Mrs. Marino and the Federal Government to support the expansion of the high school.
"This building program allows us to continue to offer a high standard of education to our students and accommodate our growing enrolment numbers," she said.
The Capital Grants Program provides funding to non-government primary and secondary school communities to improve infrastructure, if they do not have enough capital resources.
