Dunsborough bowler Daisy Grist featured in her club's championship fours after winning the championship triples event four weeks ago.

Grist led for skip Maureen Hines with Sue Chester and Sharon Sharpe making up the rest of the team.

Winning all of their games for maximum points this is a team with four pennant players, and which has won the event in the past on numerous occasions and headed into the championship as favourites for the title.

The focus was on which team could be runners up and it was between Jill Winter's team which included novice bowler Jackie Atkinson and included two pennant players in Liz Wilson and Jem Coupar.

The other team in with a slim chance was skipped by Janice Hoover who led three non pennant players.

In their last game team Winter beat Hoover by 10 shots and came runner-up to team Hines.
