Busselton Swimming Club's swimmers will face off against the best in the state this Friday after bringing home gold at the WA Long Course State Swimming Championships in Perth last month.
Eight of Busselton's 13 swimmers made the top in the state across 17 finals, to rank the Club second highest WA Country Club behind Mandurah based Peel Aquatic Club.
The team swam in 95 races over the four day competition, achieving personal best times in 68 of those races.
Scarlett Riddle, 14, brought home Gold in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, and Silver in the 200m breaststroke, making National Qualifying times for each test.
Ethan Buckland took silver in the 18 & over 50m breaststroke, and Owen Cattaway claimed a silver in the 200m backstroke.
Head Coach Andrew Sexton says said the results were outstanding and follow a year of hard work put in by the swimmers at training.
'To achieve three national qualifying times and several swimmers swimming with a fraction of qualifying times at this meet, I am excited at what this group might achieve in the next few months," he said.
Busselton's team were part of 523 swimmers from 42 clubs across Perth and WA competing in the championships.
