The town copped 57.2mm of rain between 4.30pm yesterday and 4.30am this morning, with most of that arriving between 7.30pm and 1.30am.
The most significant fall came between 9-9.30pm, with 12.6mm hitting the Busselton Airport site within half an hour.
More storms are forecast, and are expected to hit this evening.
Localised flooding occurred in parts of Busselton, with parts of the Goose café car park under water.
Busselton’s monthly rainfall now stands at 101mm, already close to exceeding the May average of 114.6mm, something which has not been done since 2008.
