THE winning photo in the Mail’s Facebook Cover Photo Competition is this cracking shot of the Busselton Jetty by amateur photographer Andrew Semark.
It was the overwhelming favourite in a poll on our website asking people which shot they preferred, receiving 60 per cent of the vote.
Andrew said photography was a part-time hobby for him and that it was a bit of trial and error to get with this snap.
“It was quite a difficult shot to get because of the moving water,” he said.
“I took around 50-60 photos and this was the best of them.
“I shot it about a month ago, when we had some lovely Busselton weather and I took the family down for a day at the beach by the jetty.
“I had this picture in my mind for a while and had my camera and water gear so I took the opportunity with a good friend to try out some shots.
“It was an awesome day and I am stoked with the result.”
