Two boys aged 11 and 17 have been charged by police with robbing a restaurant in East Victoria Park on Wednesday.
Police allege the two boys allegedly broke into the restaurant on Albany Highway around 5pm.
The 11-year-old boy from East Victoria Park was nabbed by staff on site, and the second boy from Cannington allegedly fled the store with an amount of stolen cash. He was caught shortly after by police on Beesley Street.
Both boys were arrested and taken to Cannington Police Station.
The 17-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated burglary and stealing. He was also charged with stealing a car, which was not related to the incident. He was refused bail and was due to appear in the Perth Children's Court on Thursday.
The 11-year-old boy was charged with aggravated burglary. He will appear in the Perth Children's Court on October 6.
