BUSSELTON Harcourts raised money to help charities in Western Australia last week.
Residents were encouraged to buy their lunch from the Harcourts’ sausage sizzle on Friday afternoon.
The Harcourts Foundation has been giving funds back to the Western Australia community with the aim to assist those who need it most since 2008.
Preference is given to charities where the benefit to the local community is maximised, with all funds raised in Western Australia staying in the state.
Busselton Harcourts owner Craig Edwards said it was a great opportunity for the business to raise money for the foundation and help out community charities.
“We also make a contribution to the foundation every time a house is sold,” Mr Edwards said.
The next Harcourts Foundation event will take place on March 27 with a hospice golf day.
