THE SMELL of freshly roasted caffeine was in the air on December 12 when The Cure drive through craft coffee shop hosted their official opening in Dunsborough.
The drive-through area featuring a design from local artist Ian Much was the brain child of owners Jarrod Holst and Genevieve Hodgson with the help of partners Jeremy Hodgson and Tarryn Mclean.
“It’s an amazing building, it will be an amazing business,” Ms Hodgson said.
Ms Hodgson said the shop will be a great draw card for businesses in the area, with the use of materials suiting the industrial area.
“We want to break through boundaries and do something special,” Mr Holst said
With everything in store being sourced from Western Australia, Ms Hodgson said their primary focus had been to keep everything from the coffee to their bagels as close to home as possible.
“It will be based on local suppliers, a local following and complete quality; we’re not compromising,” Ms Hodgson said.
