GEORGIANA Molloy Anglican School Swimming Club had three swimmers represent the club at the junior LC State Championships held at HBF Stadium.
The meet was over three days and saw some great swims and new personal best times.
Jed Norris the youngest member of the Junior States to represent GMAS swam well improving by four seconds in 100m backstroke improving his ranking to 13th , he aslo swam a three second personal best which awarded him 14th in the state for 100m breastroke.
Coach Reece Taylor said was happy with Jed's swims and with more training over winter he was promising to be a talented young swimmer.
Kaila Warner improved and had a season best with 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke personal best, that was Kaila's last year at a junior state level next year she will move into the 13 years to open.
Ella Butler had a heavy program with six races and swimming a season best in her 50m backstroke,50m breastroke,and taking off a huge six seconds off the 100m Breastroke giving her best ranking for that stroke of ninth.
Coach Brooke Kemp said she was happy with the swims and was looking forward to another tough pre-season, but at Junior level having fun whilst working hard was the key.
