STUDENTS across Bunbury and the South West and their parents will gain a better insight to university options as WA's five universities join forces this week.
Representatives from WA’s universities - Curtin University, Edith Cowan University (ECU), Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame and the University of Western Australia - have come together this week to visit school across the South West.
As part of a National Association of Prospective Student Advisors regional trip, the five representatives are visiting students and a number of high schools in Bunbury, Busselton and Manjimup to promote the different entry pathways and courses across the universities.
As part of the trip they will be hosting a Parent Information Session tonight, May 27, and encourage anyone considering university study to attend.
The information session is being held at ECU’s South West campus in Bunbury and kicks off at 6pm.
“It is definitely the most enjoyable part of our job, getting out to the schools and meeting students; seeing them get excited about university, we all love it," ECU representative Katie Douglas said.
“We don’t think of ourselves as competitors, we all get along really well and want to give the best advice for each individual students; regardless of which university they are interested in."
