A 17-year-old girl has had her lower leg amputated after an alleged hoon driving accident in Darch, 20 kilometres north of Perth, on Friday night.
Major Crash officers on Sunday charged a 17-year-old Darch boy over the incident.
He has been charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, no motor driving licence and excess 0.05.
The boy, allegedly lost control of his car while doing burn outs at a car park on Westport Parade around 10.50pm.
He allegedly hit a parked car, mounted the kerb and slammed into a group of teenagers who were standing on a grassed area.
He will appear before the Perth Children's Court on July 15.
The 17-year-old girl victim remains in Royal Perth Hospital.
