PRE primary students at West Busselton Primary School were drenched in excitement for National Water Week next month.
Busselton Water was at the school to launch a photo competition that celebrates National Water Week.
The competition titled #mymagicdrop is open to students, residents and visitors in Busselton to take photographs creatively capturing local water in all its forms.
Busselton Water chief executive Chris Elliot said the theme for National Water Week this year was innovation and he was looking forward to seeing the entries.
“The Busselton community is very creative and cares for their environment so we really want to see what water means to them, how they love using it, saving it and enjoying it,” he said.
Prizes up for grabs include Busselton Water show bags, gift vouchers and a membership to the Geographe Leisure Centre.
Entries close at 5pm on Thursday October 15 and winners will be announced during National Water Week.
