A boy has been born in Hunan, China, with 31 fingers and toes, a condition known as polydactylism.
The boy, nicknamed Hong Hong, has 15 fingers and 16 toes, with two palms on each hand and no thumbs, according to CBS.
The abnormalities did not show up in prenatal scans of the three-month-old, although the child's mother had an extra digit on her hands and feet.
The family is trying to raise money for surgery to correct the deformities.
CNN reports that Hong Hong's father said he is too young to undergo surgery now. However, the family is seeking medical advice.
