BREAKFAST at Tiffany’s was the theme for Georgiana Molloy Anglican School fashion show which celebrated its sixth year.
Chandeliers, red carpet, a chaise lounge, fur throws all set the scene for 50 models who took to the catwalk in gowns from Lulu and Vee & Cinderella Boutique, Olivia Daubney, South West Institute of Technology fashion students, Holly Golightly, One Palm, Belle on the Bay and Echo.
Despite the frenzy backstage, volunteer hairdressers and make up artists performed their magic so the models, many who walked the catwalk for the first time, looked poised and professional.
GMAS fashion coordinator Caroline Lill said the fashion show was a collaborative effort involving the school, local boutiques and designers.
“They invested a significant amount of time preparing and mentoring the students for the event,” she said.
“The decorating team pulled out all stops to create the Breakfast at Tiffany’s look right down to miniature teal and white meringues on the tables.”
Ms Lill said it was another fabulous show pulled together by an amazing team of people.
GMAS Parent and Friends will contribute the funds raised from the show to install air-conditioning at the school.
