TO celebrate 11 years together, members of the South West Printmakers will be featuring their work at an upcoming exhibition in Bunbury.
Line as Communication is the theme behind this year's exhibition, which will be held at the Bunbury Regional Gallery from November 11 to January 8.
The informal group of printmakers from all over the South West, formed their group so they could all share their work and knowledge with each other.
All members of the group also have a wealth of experience in other mediums, such as painting, encaustic, installations and sculpture and many have received outstanding recognition in the past.
TSWP members come from Busselton, Bridgetown, Bunbury, Manjimup, Donnybrook, Dardanup and Torbay and enjoy regular exhibitions as well as an annual camping week where they are able to share and consolidate their skills, techniques and processes.
The exhibition opens on November 11 and the artists are looking forward to sharing their prints with the community and to share the joys and expressive possibilities of printmaking.
This year the exhibition will include a video with a voice-over from each of the artists, sharing their journeys as they took on the challenge of pushing their own work boundaries further than they normally would.
