The man accused of murdering West Australian teenager Hayley Dodd 16 years ago will fight the charge at trial.
Francis John Wark pleaded not guilty to the 17-year-old's murder in December and has been in custody since.
The matter was committed for trial at Stirling Gardens Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
He will appear in the Supreme Court of WA on February 13, 2017.
Hayley was last seen alive hitchhiking near Badgingarra, north-east of Perth, in July 1999 but her body has never been found.
Special crime squad detectives in December 2015 formally charged the 59-year-old man with one count of wilful murder as a result of Operation Bluegum, the investigation into the disappearance and suspected homicide of the teenager.
