A Mail reader has captured images of what they believe could be the Nannup tiger in Busselton last week.
Busselton resident Durham Taylor showed us the images which were taken by his Canadian cousin Lieff Salionius who could not recognise the creature.
Mr Taylor said his cousin was certain the animal was not a fox, so he showed her pictures of animals found throughout the South West.
The photos were taken along Queen Elizabeth Drive opposite the drains near the high school just before 7am in the morning.
“I told her it could have been the Nannup tiger as a joke and showed her a photo,” Mr Taylor said. “She goes that was it.
“It acted young, it was not a fox like she had seen before. It had a long thin tail, not a fox face and darker ears. It could be it.”
