Two women have been charged after border force officers seized nine kilograms of methamphetamine at Perth Airport over the weekend.
The massive seizure was made on Sunday night.
Two dual Australian/Sierra Leone nationals were scheduled to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday over the drugs.
It will be alleged the women imported approximately nine kilograms of methamphetamine through Perth Airport after arriving on a flight from Qatar.
The women, aged 20 and 28, were selected for a baggage examination by Australian Border Force officers.
"X-ray anomalies were detected in the lining of both suitcases and initial testing returned a positive result for methamphetamine. Further forensic testing will be conducted to determine the exact weight and purity of the substance," a joint media release issued by the Australian Federal Police and Australian Border Force said.
Both the women have been charged with importing a commercial quantity of a border controlled drug.
