A new tour group has launched in the South West taking visitors to exeperience contemporary and visual art throughout the region.
A range of small group experiences are on offer with the guidance of local artisans who have a deep commitment to wellness and nurturing creativity in everyday life.
Ranging between two to six hours, each tour focuses on engaging visitors in a multi-sensory exploration of the region filled with art and culinary delights.
From the Easter long weekend Provenance Tours launched it’s first four offerings starting at the Northern end of the Capes.
Guests can choose a walking tour in Dunsborough or Busselton which includes morning tea and numerous locations throughout each town to discover the best pit stops for local produce amongst hidden gems of the art world.
Busselton is filled with a treasure trove of public art waiting to be unveiled with an exceptional food culture locals have been indulging in for years.
The Dunsborough tour has an emphasis on the finest of culinary and boutique shopping experiences, the town being awash with enthusiastic and award winning artisans excited to share their passion and creativity with tour guests.
The tour also offers two different road trips which take a similar approach, uncovering art in the South West.
Guests can choose from a three hour Cape Naturaliste road trek or a full day progressive lunch, the Margaret River hack.
The tour focuses on conversing with artists, studios, galleries, curators and the art works themselves.
Provenance Tours founder Stephany Durack said she aimed to create soul nourishing tours that leave people with light in their eyes.
“This means finding ways for our guests to tune in to their own senses and find ways to talk about what they have seen and enjoyed - whether it’s fine art or fine food and drinks,” she said.
“Arguably, art and epicurean experiences are the ultimate form of mindfulness as we focus on what our senses are experiencing here and now, and our daily lives slip away.
“This is not a retreat. We simply want you to have a thoroughly fun time exploring the region with a depth of engagement you wouldn’t otherwise experience on your own.”
