The Rotary Club of Busselton Geographe Bay donated $500 to Lamp Inc which will help run its youth mental health projects during the school holidays.
The Rotary Club of Busselton Geographe Bay secretary Graeme Atherton said they were pleased to support Lamp and the projects they run for youth mental health.
"Youth mental health is an area we are keen to support," he said.
"We see this as part of Rotary's overall program for youth services in the community and this year we would have spent $12,000 on youth services alone.
"Most of that money goes towards various youth exchange programs, to schools, education services and youth development programs.
"It is an all embracing program which covers various areas of youth development which is part of our ongoing work here in the community."
Lamp Inc chief executive officer Lorrae Loud said the donation would go towards the youth summer program, which includes beach days, barbecues and kayaking.
"It is a psychosocial support group, which is an unfunded arm of our organisation," she said.
"This means we do not receive government funding, it is all funded through donations, op shops and any money we raise ourselves internally.
"Donations are always appreciated and Rotary has been a great supporter of ours over the years and we are very grateful."
Lamp Inc youth Indigenous support officer Alex Eades said the program would support around 10 young people in the community aged between 12 to 18 years.
