The Margaret River Dairy Company are on the hunt for cheese lovers to join them in a Guinness World Records’ attempt for the world’s largest cheese tasting.
The event will take place on Sunday, February 25 with the official record being measured by the number of people who attend a cheese tasting in a single location.
The minimum number of people needed to beat the world record is 250, Margaret River Dairy Company production manager Thiago Bacellar said they were aiming for a much higher number.
“Everyone needs to be here at the same time for the tasting,” he said.
“Each cheese will be explained and then we all eat each cheese at the same time – there are specific requirements but it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
There will also be lots of free entertainment at the official tasting and the dairy company will have a gift for everyone who goes along to help them smash the record.
If you would like to help the Margaret River Dairy Company set a new Guinness World Record title for cheese tasting please register online before the day.
Children are welcome to participate but everyone must be happy to eat all three cheeses otherwise they will not be counted.
The Guinness World Record title attempt starts at 10am sharp with the official activities finishing by 11am.
Participants are asked to arrive from 9.30am to be ready for the action.

The event will be held at the Margaret River Dairy Company, 8063 Bussell Highway, Metricup.
