Former Western Australian Treasurer Troy Buswell may be keeping a low profile at Parliament House but his Vasse electorate office in Busselton is anything but quiet.
A month after news of Mr Buswell's alleged driving incident and mental health issues broke publicly, it's business as usual for the Busselton electoral office, which has received an outpouring of support from constituents for the local member.
"It's been overwhelming," an electoral officer told Fairfax Media on Monday of the support for Mr Buswell.
"The response has been very humbling.

"[Mental illness] does resonate with the community and I don't think there is one person who does not know someone with or connected with mental illness."
The staffer said the electoral office was filled with cards from constituents and wellwishers and was operating during normal office hours while Mr Buswell continued to fulfil local member duties – even participating in a recent local fun run.
"Yes, it's business as usual. The role of the electoral office is to assist the community as the first point of contact.
"He's seeing clients and constituents. It's step by step."
Mr Buswell, who is due to celebrate his 10th anniversary as the member for Vasse next February, has taken leave from parliament as he waits to face 11 traffic charges arising from an alleged incident in Subiaco on February 23 this year.
The government recently extended Mr Buswell's personal leave and he is not expected to return to parliament before May.
MPs convicted of offences which carry a jail term of more than five years are disqualified from parliament.
The maximum penalty under the charges brought against Mr Buswell is a fine.
Mr Buswell is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on April 29.
