ST JOSEPH’S School held a rice day on Friday as a sacrifice made for lent to remember children who often go without.

To remember children who can only afford one meal a day the school took part in the special fundraiser.
Students went without treats for the day and the year three’s based their prayer assembly around the day.
Each bowl of rice was $2 and the money raised was used to support international aid organization Caritas.
