POLICE believe alcohol and speed were factors behind a motorcycle crash in Margaret River on Wednesday night, injuring two Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members.

A 26-year-old Busselton man and known member of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang was seriously injured in the crash.
The incident occurred around 10pm near the Margaret River police station when officers heard a motorcycle loudly accelerate and then crash.
Police went out to investigate when they discovered a rider and pillion passenger on a Harley Davidson had crashed into a tree and police provided first aid to both of the men.
Police believe the 26-year-old Rebels member who was the passenger was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital for suspected head injuries.
The motorcycle rider who is a 28-year-old Margaret River man believed to be an associate of the Coffin Cheaters Outlaw Motorcycle Gang was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital for lacerations to his head.
The motorcycle was badly damaged in the crash and further inquiries are continuing.
